“Confirmation” and “finality” often get used interchangeably but in Espresso, they mean very different things. 🔵 Confirmation = fast, BFT-secured agreement that a transaction has been sequenced and accepted by the network. You can act on it instantly bridges, apps, or users can move forward safely. 🔴 Finality = when the transaction is fully settled and irreversible on the base layer like Ethereum. It’s slower, but it’s the ultimate checkpoint of truth. @espressosys gives rollups rapid confirmations through HotShot consensus while leaving finality to their underlying L1s or settlement layers.
