Worldcoin-like projects merging identity and tokens introduce unique risks. Technically, users may attempt to exploit multi-device setups or fake identities to farm rewards. While detection methods such as biometric verification reduce this, loopholes can exist, raising fairness and legal concerns. Ethically, exploiting such gaps undermines the project’s stated purpose and risks exclusion if detected. Legally, repeated fraudulent participation can be interpreted as identity manipulation, exposing individuals to consequences. Participants should carefully weigh short-term gains against long-term reputational and regulatory risks, particularly as biometric-based projects often operate under stricter oversight. Exploitation may result in permanent blacklisting or token clawbacks.
