New Format: On Travel Shorts Dept. I've been writing notes on the road for months: things overheard, noticed, something that happened, or name of someone we've met. Most of them will never make it into a longer piece. Too small. But small is exactly right. So: Shorts. As in the ones you pack for the beach. One sentence to one paragraph.
