On Dating in Morocco I was picking some dates at the store. The problem is there are about fifty kinds of dates in Morocco. After a minute I noticed a woman next to me who clearly knew what she was doing. She picked up every box, read the back, turned it around, opened it, put her glasses on, took them off, and repeated this for each one. None passed her inspection. The box I had picked she rejected so fast I got nervous and put mine back too. Eventually I stopped pretending to choose and just waited for her verdict. After a while she selected two types, held them, turned to me, and said something in French I didn’t fully understand but obviously meant I should take the same ones. I did.
