To make the most out of a trip in limited time, I usually pick a central location as my base. This way, it's easier to explore different areas without wasting too much time on travel. For activities, I go for a mix of must-see spots and off-the-beaten-path experiences. It's all about finding that balance you don't want to rush through everything, but at the same time, ticking off some major attractions can be pretty satisfying. Planning ahead is key, so I create a rough itinerary with flexibility built-in. That means having a list of things I definitely want to do, along with a few backups in case plans change. And, of course, leaving some free time for spontaneous adventures or just relaxing. Using local transport or even walking when possible not only saves time but also lets me soak up more of the local vibe.
