Hey @dwr, team Rarimo here! In a nutshell, we prove passport authenticity by generating a ZK proof of the issuer's digital signature and expiration date validity on the user's smartphone. This way, attackers can't forge a passport without compromising the government CA. Additionally, we're currently evaluating options for liveliness checks based on passport photos to make sure that the original owner is trying to scan the passport.
