COINBASE BRINGS BACK STABLECOIN FUNDING PROGRAM FOR DEFI Coinbase is relaunching its Stablecoin Bootstrap Fund (first launched in 2019) to boost USDC & EURC liquidity across DeFi. The program managed by Coinbase Asset Management kicks off with deployments on Aave, Morpho, Kamino, and Jupiter, with more platforms coming soon. Originally, this initiative helped seed early liquidity for protocols like Uniswap, Compound, and dYdX playing a huge role in making USDC the #1 stablecoin in DeFi. Now, Coinbase plans to expand allocations across both established and emerging DeFi platforms, testing deployments across multiple networks before scaling further. With $200B+ in DeFi TVL (double since April but still under 2021 highs), this move could accelerate liquidity and yield opportunities across the ecosystem.
