Meet the channel's first lyricist, Mr. Wildenfree (@mrwildenfree) who is based out of Atlanta and reflects on technology via music. He has been sharing videos here and on his other social media profiles, to thousands of followers across each one. Somehow I had not seen his music on my feed before, so really appreciate @0ffline for the recommendation.
Many of us here (myself included) tend to express ourselves best through text. But his lyricism is a powerful reminder that some thoughts just can’t be captured in words alone. They’re meant to be felt, heard, and seen. Music is one of the oldest ways we’ve passed down stories and emotion, and video makes that transmission even more powerful.
Grateful to have Mr. Wildenfree here, and he's already been doing the 9:16 format for many months now. So, even if you're not a musician, there's a lot to learn from his choices in framing, lighting, and editing. 1 reply

Who doesn't know and love @bertwurst.eth? When I first joined Farcaster, I thought Bert was so beloved because, well, he’s really cute. And yes, that’s a big part of it. But over time, I’ve seen that Bert is much more than his good looks. He's a true champion for community. Always the first to cheer people on and works hard to genuinely connect.
When I lived in New York, I got to know a few “dogfluencers” behind the scenes. Some of their humans quit their jobs to post dog photos on Instagram and TikTok full time. But it was mostly one-way broadcasting, driven by brand partnerships and advertisements, not real connection.
What I admire about Bert is that, despite his young age (and the obvious challenges of typing with paws), he’s fully engaged with the community here. He’s not here to replicate the existing dogfluencer path. He’s here to build something new and unique to Farcaster. And if you have been following Bert, you'll know he’s been doing just that.
Being a dog, there are so many creative possibilities beyond what humans can do, but historically his video engagement here has not been his strongest. So, if you have ideas, let him know what you want to see. He is even willing to wear shoes in public.
