The internet solved creation.
Anyone can publish.
Anyone can design a character, launch a narrative, or start a community around an idea. The tools for producing culture have never been more accessible.
But creation was never the real bottleneck.
Coordination was.
In other words, culture became a networked project.
But the internet has fractured that model.
Creative talent is global.
Communities form organically.
Distribution happens across dozens of platforms simultaneously.
What’s missing is infrastructure that allows these distributed participants to coordinate economically around the same IP.
This is the design space @cityprotocol.base.eth is exploring.
@cityonbase treats intellectual property less like a static asset and more like a living network. Through tokenized structures and community-aligned incentives, contributors can collectively participate in growing the value of a narrative ecosystem.
