In the US DoJ and FBI are hiring thousands, with new, lower standards. Perhaps they now realise DOGEification not only saved nothing, but also went “too far” (this is called a euphemism, right?) Or perhaps something more pernicious? After all the Nazi regime did something quite similar in the early 30s, by ensuring legal and “unaligned” academics had to go, and replacing them with aligned, malleable, inexperienced Hitlerian youths.
