The JP government announced changes that will authorise selling weapons. So long pacifism. But I can’t help thinking that selling weapons is also—or more—an economic move. 30 years of sluggish economy addressed only via macroeconomic maneuvers a la quantitative easing, and typical neoliberal recipes like privatisations. When out of ideas, fall back to selling weapons.
