I'm a friend of capital gains. I will mainly talk about investments; both crypto and traditional instruments.
To me, investing seems to be the most forgiving sport and the simplest path to building wealth. You can be wrong on nine out of ten instruments and still end up extraordinarily wealthy if you do not trim the flowers and water the weeds.
Let your winners run, and don't waste your capital nurturing the losers.
