This is one of those things that you see on Instagram and you have to go check out. First day I went it was sideways raining crazy wind and it was about an hour walk to get there and back and I didn’t feel like being freezing cold and soaking wet. So the next day I took a super jeep shuttle out there which took about 10 minutes and then I had to wait for a few of people to do their photos and it cleared out. The wonderful thing about Iceland is this hardly any people here and when there are visitors in locations like this it’s not hundreds of them it’s like 10 or 15. A lot of times you’ll go to a waterfall and there’s nobody else there except for the very touristy ones where the buses drop off a bunch of people. This plane had an emergency landing and crashed in the ocean in 1973. They dragged it out of the beach and then left it there and it’s become a big tourist attraction
