• the agi debate: hassabis (deepmind) is betting on agi within 10 years. yann lecun says trust me, llms will never get there because they don't actually understand reality.
• the infrastructure play: jensen says we’re witnessing the biggest hardware buildout in history. he’s telling every country they need "sovereign ai" right now.
• the power pivot: elon says the chip shortage is over, but the electricity shortage is just starting. his move? space-based solar to power data centers within 3 years.
it’s a massive clash of egos and big bets. the hardware is ready, but the grid isn't.
