Happy holidays to anyone who celebrates. My grandma loved Easter, but more than anything, she loved togetherness. This is the first one without her physical presence, so Iām holding her a little closer today.
This moment reminded me that love can meet us through other people too. The coffee ceremony on Christmas Day, and a brief exchange with the coffee server, brought me right back to my grandmother. She passed away two days later, so that memory lives with me differently now.
Connection can reach us through a person, a ritual, a feeling, a familiar warmth. We touch each other in so many ways.
