And that has the potential to collapse the very standard of what "trustworthy information" even means. Fake reviews change purchasing decisions. Fake accounts shape public opinion. Fake identities dominate airdrops. (Absolutely unacceptable.) We've been verifying with email authentication, phone number verification, "click all the traffic lights" — but AI clears all of that now without breaking a sweat. Biometrics? Sure, it's a decent way to prove you're human — but who's holding onto my iris data? What happens if it gets hacked? What if it leaks? Are we supposed to just swap out our irises?
