Channels are still the best way to have deep, meaningful conversations on Farcaster. And the only way to build community.
You’re 100% right. It’s not for a lack of trying. There are many channel owners who keep fighting the good fight to make channels the home for different cultural groups.

It would be cool if there was a welcome feature for each new member from the owner or a moderator to help people get acclimated to the norms and best practices

it needs to be much more intuitive. can’t have people looking for what they don’t know exists.
