Video creators, can you stop using teasers that have nothing to do with what you’re actually talking about?
If you don’t know how to edit, at least understand what shots to take and when to use effects.
How are you using Film 4 effects and gunshot sounds while talking about relatable, everyday problems?
Shots and effects are not decorations.
They have meaning. They carry emotion.
If you want to get better, start with the basics:
•Master shots
•Close-up shots
•Insert shots
You don’t need to know everything. Just understand enough to communicate clearly.
And if you don’t know how to use sound effects properly, don’t use them at all.
Silence is better than random gunshot sounds and glitches.
I’ll either write or have a class on basic video creation and editing, your choice.
