I've taken the past few weeks to reset, rest, & iterate on what I want to do next. In the past decade, I've worked in various capacities in the crypto industry, whether it was spearheading devops and infosec at the Ethereum Foundation or more recently leading as VP of community and governance at Polygon Labs. I'm deeply passionate about privacy, security, and moving the crypto industry forward. I would love to work with people who share these passions. If you are a solid team building something cool, my DMs are open to chat!

What if in the future there are no noticeable distinctions between L1s, L2s, and permissioned chains? Permissioned chains will pull and push data to other chains just the same as L1s and L2s will. Not every blockchain will optimize for censorship resistance or decentralization or permissionlessness. This is both inevitable and okay. Ethereum must remain maximally cypher punk, decentralized, permissonless, and censorship resistant. Other chains will serve their own purposes. Not everything needs to be on or be used by Ethereum. If I'm going to the grocery store I don't need a tank, I can just use a car. I don't always need to use Ethereum depending on the value of my transaction and what I'm optimizing for that day.

I love this privacy focused future and that it is being injected loudly into the ethos of the Ethereum community!

@millie-x asked on Twitter what the most effective way for Farcaster to vampire attack Twitter. Not just the crypto communities, but every community on Twitter. My thoughts: Vampire attack certain communities with a focus on Frames enabling unique features for each online group. šŸ’„ Details šŸ’„ - Seamless cross-posting between both platforms. - When you cross post, you can't use Farcaster features, but you will see others doing so on Farcaster. - You're giving people a better user experience than Twitter and it looks smoother and you can still view/post to Twitter from Farcaster. 🌐 Groups to Target 🌐 - Anime enthusiasts. They are generally more tech. savvy and are on multiple platforms. - Gamers (they get tired of Reddit and frames could integrate unique ways to show your related scores and stats for games + live stream stuff). - Political enthusiasts. That is an underrated reason why Bluesky is having some traction. I don't mean polarizing lib content, but reporters and known political voices.

To understand what we as the Ethereum community are trying to accomplish, we need to look at history. This document is the "Ethereum Dev Plan" from 2014 where the organizational structure of the Ethereum Foundation & vision for Ethereum is outlined. Here are my favorite parts.

Ethereum Beacon Chain Blackjack šŸƒ For funsies could someone create a program that reads the Ethereum consensus layer, sees the validators selected from the selected committee, and simulate a blackjack game where the block proposer is the dealer and the attesters are blackjack players?
