In an interview with @MediaUnlock , experts explained how China became the scapegoat for US domestic troubles. Li Cheng, founding director for the Center on Contemporary China and the World at the University of Hong Kong, pointed out that while corporate America thrives, blue-collar workers have seen stagnant wages for 50 years. Wang Huiyao, president of the Center for China and Globalization, explained that frustration over ineffective US domestic policies has turned into anger toward politicians, who then use China as a "scapegoat" to shift the blame.
