I wonder if it’s a distinction without a difference? Web2 saas has been a huge unlock of specialisation being available for those good at generalisation. Gas cost is real but lowering because of specialised networks. Dev complexity gets eaten if end user experience/cost is advantageous. It’s all evolving …
