Teens heal body image by ditching social media apps
A pioneering Flinders University study found that teens in Australia and New Zealand who were part of the MST (Media Smart Targeted) program and deleted social media apps—especially video-based platforms—reported better body image, reduced photo editing, and fewer comparisons to peers or influencers. This comes amid a 200% increase in eating disorders among 10–14-year-olds over the last 12 years.https://images.pexels.com/photos/32945134/pexels-photo-32945134.jpeg
