Protein bars promise performance, but many are loaded with sugar, syrups, and artificial fillers. A “healthy” label doesn’t always equal nutrient density. The smarter choice: bars with >15 g protein, <6 g sugar, and fiber content. While useful on-the-go, whole food options still win for micronutrients. Convenience is good—but marketing shouldn’t blur nutrition truth.
