Therapy before psychologists came into our lives 🗿 Les Stewart spent 16 years and 7 months typing out all the numbers from 1 to 1,000,000. These are 19,990 sheets of quarto format (larger than A4, but smaller than A3), more than 25 million characters, 7 typewriters, about 1,000 tapes and an average of 3 pages per day. The final manuscript was taller than the Forest itself. A Vietnam veteran and former typing instructor who suffered partial paralysis in the service has turned this into a daily routine therapy. But this was not his first record: before that, he had already set them for on-site swimming and a 30-hour swim.
