How crypto is actually changing lives 🧵👇
In 2023, during the collapse of several banks in Lebanon 🇱🇧, citizens turned to Bitcoin and USDT just to access basic savings.
No banks, no access — but with a crypto wallet, people could still buy food, pay rent, and survive. 🪙📱
In Nigeria 🇳🇬, when the gov limited cash withdrawals and pushed a failing digital currency, people turned to P2P crypto.
Bitcoin became a lifeline, giving freedom and safety when traditional banks failed. 🔐💸
Even in the West, when SVB Bank collapsed (2023), many startups used stablecoins like USDC to stay liquid and keep paying employees.
No crypto? No payroll. 🧑💻
Decentralization = safety 🔒
Self-custody = freedom 💼
Borderless money = power to the people 🌍
