Pyth has started a token buyback program: 33% of the DAO treasury is allocated to monthly PYTH purchases.
This is Pyth's first official buyback; the goal is to reduce circulating supply and support the token price.
Purchases are funded from protocol revenue (oracle fees), and the bought tokens are either burned or returned to the treasury.
