Framedl 2026-08-26 2/6* London 1854: cholera was understood as miasma, bad air rising off the Thames. John Snow, the OG data scientist, mapped the dead street by street and the deaths clustered around a single water pump on Broad Street. He had the handle removed. The data is the treasure and X marked the spot on the map.
