Lee Miller was a Vogue model and then Man Ray's assistant, credited by some as co-discovering solarization, filed mostly under his name.
In April 1945 she photographed Dachau, then went to Munich and was photographed in Hitler's bathtub. Her boots on the mat, camp dirt in the water, his portrait propped on the rim.
One frame is enough to imbue a bathroom with everything she'd walked through that morning.
