When I invest in a founder I watch from the sidelines first before anything else.. How people conduct themselves when they think no one is looking is more important than anything else. Then the revenue models of that business can always be adjusted to be more profitable for an investor. I never let the numbers alone close me…you as a founder need to be impressive first..the rest will follow. Not many founders or entrepreneurs impress me…but when you are the complete personification of the offering you create through your business, the impact is incredible. Leonida featured here is a prime example, I am a fan of his excellence in vision and execution. And let’s be honest, he’s quite likely the best dressed man right now. We will collaborate on a few ventures which I hope to share with you soon. A founder that is completely aligned is one that walks / talks and breathes their product. Thats complete alignment which makes you incredibly investable. I get pitched all the time for capital for expansion. But my “thesis” is always founder focussed. Which means, until I meet you and my sixth sense tells me you’re the right fit for the vision, you’ll never get that investment.
