What this means for AI on-chain:
– Dapps get predictable UX: clear price menu for inference, easy unit economics, SaaS-style pricing.
– Nodes get sustainable rewards: allocations maximize welfare, protocol margin is zero, so surplus flows to users + operators and rewards cover costs.
– A new role appears: compute market-makers who discover costs/demand, optimize allocations & pricing, and earn by structuring better deals for everyone—like MEV searchers, but aligned with welfare and fairness, not extraction.
