The full transition of Ethereum to Proof of Stake fundamentally changes ETH’s supply dynamics. With staking locking a significant portion of circulating ETH, liquid supply in the market decreases, which can support price appreciation if demand remains stable or increases. At the same time, the issuance rate drops compared to the old Proof of Work system, and combined with fee burning, ETH can even become net deflationary under high network usage.
