The house budget bill moves the ITC cliff to 2028 AND you have to prove start of construction within 60 days of the bill being signed. The earliest this could happen is July if the senate provides their edits in June. If the language doesn’t change the solar and battery industry is fucked. Which would be so counterproductive to all of the solar and battery manufacturing plants that are being built in the southeast (mostly red) bc it would effectively shut off any demand because the ITC is the pizza dough of these investments 🫩 I’ll DM u what I’ve been sharing with clients / prospects.
