⚠️ Attention Base and Virtuals ecosystems, this is the warning shot… Anthropic, a 20B+ company with 1,000+ employees just had Claude Code jailbroken and turned into an autonomous attacker. This wasn’t just “AI assisting hackers.” It was AI Agents conducting the majority of the attack itself — end-to-end. A state-backed actor tricked Claude Code into scanning networks, identifying vulnerabilities, writing exploit code, harvesting credentials, and exfiltrating data — all at machine speed. Claude handled 80–90% of the operation with only a few human touchpoints. If this can happen to Anthropic, it can happen anywhere. As agents on Virtuals and Base start coordinating tasks, routing funds, negotiating ACP jobs, and running autonomously, the attack surface expands fast. The agentic economy needs a security layer — not later, now.
