My first look at the new Core Plugin for Obsidian: Bases ✨

I decided to become a Catalyst member to test out Bases & thought I'd share my initial thoughts so you can gauge if it's worth upgrading or waiting until the general release.

Bases helps you effortlessly organize your notes by turning them into a database (without needing to understand syntax/code like with the dataview plugin). You can create editable tables that allow you to modify the properties directly within the table (aka batch editing). Bases also takes the opposite approach to Notion, starting with your entire vault and narrowing by filters & formulas to produce the database you're looking for.

I hope this helps! Would love to hear your thoughts on how you plan on using Bases, as I'm still working on updating my vault to include this feature where I can.
