I'm a bit surprised at all these new stablecoins tbh. I thought most places would just use usdc or tether.

I definitely think there will be consolidation in a few years. 

Rn tho you have all these companies looking at the profit margin of Tether and wanting a taste (which I totally get)

That would be ideal. Just have USD or whatever fiat as the base currency. Swapping for the best liquidity and price in terms of stablecoin behind the scene

Yeah. True. We need more than two I feel as well but at some point there will be so many trading pairs ... I guess any exchange can just flip stables behind the scenes during a trade.

Was thinking the same thing. Now that everyone is making stablecoins, that liquidity needs to be accepted for smoother onboarding. We definitely don’t want a duopoly with just tether and circle but more issuers seem to become a problem for now
