When you’re on fire for a project, it’s hard to downshift—even when you’re sick. Over the weekend, I took stock of what I still shipped during my flu week. – Built the landing page – Defined the MVP basics – Created a survey – Set up the newsletter – Configured my tools And alongside all that: care work—parenting, household tasks, the St. Martin’s parade. It doesn’t “just happen”; it takes time, energy, and planning. It hit me how quickly we normalize constant work—especially as working parents. Mothers often keep going, no matter the circumstances. Your turn: When did you last consciously count what you achieved in a week—combining kids and career? Write it down. Celebrate it. Then rest. 💛
