ar.io mainnet using a network of custom CUs to speed up registry edits too. I'm not a dev but I like to try to understand things and this all fits with the state architecture you've explained above and how transferring that to 'stateless' is difficult. I'm gonna need to go back a re-read these replies haha. The concept that AO proposes is extremely forward-looking in terms of adoption of trustless systems where messages and distributed 'time independent' processes can scale and and distribute consensus without the limitations of block time, wasted compute by miners etc. When I was trying to wrap my head around AO I didn't understand how different it was and why I couldn't just send a graph request / http api call for state it's wild but so fascinating at the same time - and a paradigm shift for blockchain devs too 🤯
