🪙 Former BlackRock top manager Joseph Chalom became co-chairman of SharpLink — a company that now manages reserves in Ethereum. After a strategy change, it was headed by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin.
Chalom previously oversaw digital assets at BlackRock and participated in launching spot ETFs and tokenized funds. SharpLink's reserves already hold $1.3 billion in ETH.
The company became one of the first public ones to choose a crypto reserve strategy similar to MicroStrategy, but with a focus on Ethereum. Among investors are Pantera, Galaxy Digital, Electric Capital, and Consensys.
