Hey Justin! Depends on a couple factors, in particular, what types of activities you like to do, and if you want smartwatch features (notifications, etc...) as well. What activities do you most frequently do?

Most are great with water now! I use a Garmin and do a lot of lifting, really like it for that. Might come down to how much battery life you care about. I was between Garmin Venu3/Forerunner (~5-7 days battery life) and Apple Watch (~18 hours) battery life. I also use the watch as a vibrating alarm clock in the morning, so wear it to sleep (to track sleep and not wake my wife up when I get up). Apple Watch couldn't do that since it needs to be charged every night. Can't speak too much to the swimming aspect for accuracy, but the Forerunners and most Garmins in general to great for triathletes, so you'd think the swimming is pretty accurate. If you have any other questions happy to help out!
