With the exception of healthcare access, my best friend Alex and I shared everything while we were in college. While Alex's parents owned a small business, I was covered by their insurance. Because of the expense, Alex was hesitant to visit a doctor when he started to cough a lot. Eventually, we found a community health facility that helped him recover.
