Donald Trump nominated cryptocurrency supporter Paul Atkins to head the SEC
Donald Trump has announced the nomination of Paul Atkins for the position of SEC chairman. Atkins, a former SEC commissioner (2002-2008) and current head of Patomak Global Partners, is known as a proponent of sensible regulation and development of digital assets. He has served as co-chair of the Token Alliance at the Digital Chamber of Commerce since 2017.
