Decentralization is not a switch that turns “on” or “off.”
It is an ongoing process: reducing trust assumptions, increasing validator diversity, refining client implementations, and improving fault tolerance. Ethereum’s roadmap is essentially a roadmap toward minimizing the need to trust anyone—even the core developers themselves.
This trajectory is what gives Ethereum longevity.
