What is Binance Alpha?
Binance Alpha is a new platform within the Binance Exchange and Binance Wallet spotlighting early-stage crypto projects with growth potential. Serving as a pre-listing token selection pool for enhancing transparency in the token consideration process for Binance Exchange listings.

As Binance list new projects in their Alpha, they tend to give Alpha airdrop and TGE (IDO) subscription to participants. To qualify, you need to meet the Alpha points criteria to claim the Airdrop or TGE (IDO) slot, and in other to meet the Alpha point criteria you must’ve earn the Alpha points.

So it’s not just about having Alpha points. It’s about meeting the criteria — minimum points required.

How to Access the Alpha Page?

Open your Binance app and go to “Home”
Click the search bar and type “Alpha”
Click “Alpha Events” in the search result and it will take you to the Alpha page.

On the Alpha page, you can see your Alpha Points, Alpha Airdrop and TGE as seen below.

How to Earn Alpha Points?
Currently, there are two ways in which you can earn/accrue Alpha points. Either with your Asset Balance ($) or By Creating Volume. Now let’s explain both one after another.

How to Earn Alpha Points with your Asset Balance ($)?
You have absolutely nothing to do here, all you have to do is have/deposit any asset into your Binance Exchange account (Spot/Funding) or in Binance Keyless Wallet (Web3 Wallet) or Both. Below are the rules.

As you can see in the Rules above, holding a greater than (>) or equal (=) to $100 asset will earn you 1 Point, >=$1000

Between $100 — $1000 earns you 1 Point
Between $1000 — $10,000 earns you 2 Points
Between $10,000 — $100,000 earns you 3 Points etc.
If you hold any crypto on your Binance Exchange or Binance Wallet, you might’ve already earn some Alpha points.

PS: The asset could be stablecoin or any other crypto. The point will be credited to your Alpha Balance before 7AM the next day.

How to Earn Alpha Points by Trading Volume?
This is where you have to put in the work by Buying Alpha tokens and creating volume. You can execute the trade on Binance Exchange (Alpha section) or on Binance Wallet (Alpha section) or Both. The volume only count towards BUY order, SELL order doesn’t count. Below are the rules.

As you can see in the Rules above,

A BUY order of $2 of any alpha token gives 1 Point
A BUY order of $4 of any alpha token gives 2 Points
A BUY order of $8 of any alpha token gives 3 Points
A BUY order of $16 of any alpha token gives 4 Points
A BUY order of $32 of any alpha token gives 8 Points etc. You earn +1 Point for each doubling.

Let’s assume you have deposited $100 to create volume and you would like to create a $512 volume, below is what to do:

Select an Alpha token to trade
BUY $100 worth of the token, that automatically creates a $100 volume
SELL it back and BUY again — You’ll need to buy it 5 times to create a $500 volume
You can then buy $20 worth of the token to cover for the remaining $12, totaling $520 volume.
This earns you 9 Points at the end of the day.
PS: Only BUY order of Alpha tokens will count towards earning point, buying of non-alpha tokens will not earn you point. The point will be credited to your Alpha Balance before 7AM the next day.

Daily Points Breakdown
If you scroll down more on the Alpha page, you’ll see a “Point Points Breakdown” section where you can keep track of your volume, balance and point earned in past days. As seen below.

How to Create Volume using Binance Exchange:
1. Firstly, you must’ve already deposited USDT or USDC or BNB into your Binance Exchange Spot Account.

2. Go to Binance Exchange and go to “Home”
3. Click on the “Alpha” section and select any tokens you’ll like to trade — I choose PUFFER
4. Click “Trade”
5. Select “Instant” for immediate trade
6. Input amount and “BUY”

PS: You can BUY and SELL as many time as possible as you want but only BUY order count towards earning alpha point.

How to Create Volume using Binance Wallet
Firstly, you must’ve already deposited USDT or USDC or BNB into your Binance Keyless Wallet.

Navigate to Binance Wallet
Go to “Home” (Homepage)
Click on the “Alpha” section and select any tokens you’ll like to trade — I choose PRAI
Click on “Swap”
Select token to swap from (either USST/USDC/BNB)
Input amount and “Swap”

PS: You can BUY and SELL as many time as possible as you want but only BUY order count towards earning alpha point.
