My anxiety has been higher lately. Partially because of my health and GAD, and partially because of ~frantically waves hands~
Even though art making doesn’t quiet it permanently, when I’m drawing, my mind softens a bit. My visual of anxiety is a tightening, angular feeling, and with art, that feeling begins to mush, is malleable and more manageable.
My work itself has loosened a lot. Partially due to my health, but I’m really loving this season, or era as the kids say, that I’m in. Thankful for it all. Even the angular anxiety. 14 replies
