Trust Wallet told Chrome users to disable version 2.68 of its extension.
This followed reports of wallet thefts linked to that December 24th update.
The company acknowledged a security issue and released a fixed version, 2.69, on December 25th.
Victims and researchers had started reporting the problem soon after 2.68 launched.
