🔴 Unexpected details of the ByBit hack🔴
It turned out that Bybit, the popular Safe{Wallet} multi-signature wallet, was not to blame for the hack — it was their infrastructure that was hacked by hackers from Lazarus.
How did this happen?
🔹 Lazarus was able to hack the device of one of the Safe{Wallet} developers, which gave them access to the infrastructure of the multi-signature wallet.
🔹 They implemented competitive JavaScript on the official Safe{Wallet} website, but made it invisible to ordinary users.
🔹 This code is only implemented when Bybit wallets sign transactions, redirecting funds to the attackers' wallet.
🔹 After the code thefts were updated, priority fragments were removed to replace traces.
