I had aspirations of creating a comfortable and sustainable house when I first moved into my fixer-upper. At first, it seemed unrealistic to include clean technologies. That was altered by a fortuitous meeting at a solar energy workshop. I quickly had panels installed after meeting Tim, a solar specialist. I felt empowered to make more environmentally friendly choices, and my bills decreased.
