1. A ride-hailing driver was run over by police officers during today’s protest, and the driver has just been declared dead on August 29, 2025.
2. The brutality of the police has led them to assault the protesters. All TV news outlets have been silenced and are not allowed to record or broadcast it, but there’s a live video clip from one of the demonstrations.
3. What is seen in this video shows the ugly side of law enforcement: an officer pulling someone’s hair and stomping on the head of a protester.
The police should serve as protectors, guardians, and humane enforcers of the law. Violence only worsens the situation, causes trauma, and widens the gap between the people and the police.

Today I feel really sad. My parents had a fight because someone borrowed electricity for about two hours to weld iron in front of the house for a drainage project.
They said the electricity ran out. Hearing that made me feel sad, like I can’t do anything. In the end, I paid for the electricity at home.
I work, but it feels like it doesn’t mean anything my money is all gone just for daily needs. It’s really sad
I hope I can stay patient while waiting for a better job so I can make my parents happy
