Today we built sandcastles.
Small, imperfect, fragileโฆ like many things in life.
I teach you to fill them patiently, to press hard so they don't fall, and also to understand that sometimes the sea comes and takes them away without warning.
It's okay. We start again.
This is how I want to teach you about life, my daughter:
to create with enthusiasm,
to enjoy the process more than the result, to not be afraid when something collapses, and to know that there's always plenty of sand to build something new.
I'll be here, holding the bucket when you need it, and letting go when it's time ๐ฅน๐ฅน๐ฅน
