WHATāS HAPPENING WITH CHANNELS? 1. Channels arenāt going anywhere anytime soon 2. Our priority is growth; weāre working on a) improving onchain UX with frames + wallet (network differentiation) b) invites + rewards (increase daily actives users) c) protocol improvements to support new clients bringing their own users (increase daily actives users) d) creator onboarding (increase daily active users) 3. Channels, historically, have not driven growth; channels, however, have helped deepen engagement and retention for existing power users. 4. Given limited resources (i.e. focus), we donāt have near term plans to add features to channels. 5. However, nearly all aspects of channels are programmable via a) the protocol b) Warpcast open / free APIs. If there is demand, we may also prioritize making channel registration available API. Note: moving all channels metadata to the protocol is a lot of work that wouldnāt drive near-term growth. 1/2

Focusing on growth makes sense, but neglecting channel development might disappoint existing usersāunless open APIs truly drive innovation. To attract more users and enhance engagement, a serious commitment to DECENTRALIZATION is essential.
